Quality Inspector - PCBA - Level 2

Summary

Join our global inspection team as a part-time Quality Inspector with full-time potential! Based in the Dallas, TX area, you will conduct visual PCBA inspections and paperwork verification at our client's suppliers. You will detect defects on complex products, verify documentation, and rework, and interpret manufacturing drawings. This position requires 5+ years of hands-on inspection experience, IPC-610 and PCBA expertise, and reliable transportation. US Citizenship and background checks are mandatory. The hourly rate is $30-$33, with additional compensation for travel time and mileage.

Requirements

• 5+ years of hands-on inspection experience
• Knowledge and hands-on experience working with various inspection tools and methods
• Experience with IPC-610 and PCBA is required
• Be able to read and interpret standard manufacturing drawings based on industry and commodity standards
• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel
• US Citizenship
• Background checks are required

Responsibilities

• Conduct visual PCBA inspections and paperwork verification at our client's supplier(s) in the Dallas, TX area
• Detect defects on highly complex products
• Verify documentation packages to industry/commodity-specific standards and classify defect types
• Verify rework conducted during the time of the inspection
• Read and interpret standard manufacturing drawings based on industry and commodity standards

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Cables and harnesses and IPC-620
• Experience with GD&T, and precision measuring tools

Benefits

• $30 - $33 an hour
• Hourly rate while on site or working remotely (i.e. completing or modifying reports)
• Minimum 4 hours per day if deployed (i.e. "4 hour minimum")
• 50% hourly rate for any travel time (i.e. "p2p")
• Mileage reimbursement at US gov't rate ($ 0.655 per mile driven). Untaxed
