Quantitative Researcher, Trader

Summary

Join Kronos as a fully remote Quantitative Trader and manage your own desk with P&L responsibilities. You will need a proven track record in crypto trading, strong coding skills (Python, Golang, Matlab, or R), and experience in mid/long-term frequency trading strategies. A relevant advanced degree from a top university and experience at a proprietary trading firm or hedge fund are essential. The role involves significant research and development, strategy implementation, and automation. Salary is determined based on Asian standards.

Requirements

• Have a profitable and demonstrable track record in the crypto trading space
• Hold an MSc / PhD in a research-intensive STEM field (Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Physics, Engineering etc)
• Have a degree from a top-tier university
• Have a passion for developing quantitative trading strategies
• Have at least 3 years’ experience in electronic trading, especially in mid-long term type strategy, with a focus on cryptocurrency
• Possess strong coding skills – at least 3 to 5 years of experience coding in Python, Golang, Matlab, or R
• Have algorithmic trading experience
• Have completed at least a 3-month internship or full-time position at a proprietary trading firm or hedge fund as a Quantitative Researcher/Trader, with prior involvement in alpha-related projects during the internship

Preferred Qualifications

• Have prior experience as a Quantitative Trader / Researcher
• Have experience with Machine Learning, Natural Language Processing or Deep Learning
• Have knowledge of the DeFi and Web 3.0 ecosystem
