Quantum Technology Intern

Summary

This job posting is for a Quantum Technology Intern position at HRL Laboratories in Southern California. The intern will perform experimental benchwork, software development, analyze experimental data, and work on computational theory. A Bachelor's degree in Science, Engineering, or related undergraduate program is required along with current enrollment in a Master’s degree program. Strong communication skills, proficiency with MS Office suite products, and experience in one or more of the specified areas are also required.

Requirements

• Experience in one or more of the following: electromagnetic/optical/quantum simulation, scientific data analysis, software development, electrical test and measurement, optical test and measurement, cryogenic systems, protocol/algorithm development/implementation, circuit design and evaluation
• Proficiency with MS Office suite products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
• Bachelor’s degree in Science, Engineering, or related undergraduate program
• Undergraduate research in quantum technology or related field
• Current enrollment in a Master’s degree program
