Summary

Requirements

  • A bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field from an accredited college or university
  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience as a QuickBase Application developer or similar position with professional-level experience in the design, development, implementation, and administration of QuickBase Applications
  • Active QB Builder Certificate required

Responsibilities

  • Developing and managing software tools using QuickBase and related applications
  • Developing and maintaining project management and field data collection web applications for internal and external users
  • Assisting with coordination, development, implementation, operation, maintenance, and training for QuickBase workflows and best practices
  • Providing QuickBase expertise and support to organizational staff and project teams
  • Establish and maintain effective working relationships with peers, superiors, vendor representatives, and clients
  • Analyzing complex problems, evaluating alternatives, and make sound, well-structured recommendations
  • Working with various skilled staff from other departments or outside clients
  • Supporting QuickBase application development, to include QuickBase ‘pipelines’ management and jinja coding
  • Explaining technical issues and concepts to non-technical staff
  • Planning, managing, and implementing QuickBase projects; assessing progress and making appropriate corrections to keep projects on track

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in Railroad Project Management operations preferred
  • Active QB Pipelines Builder Certificate preferred
  • Knowledge and experience with python, HTML, and Jinja preferred
  • Understand emerging cloud-based project management technologies and their application to improve business operations
