React Developer

Summary

Join Bounteous as a React Developer and take ownership of projects throughout their lifecycle. You will design and develop mission-critical user experiences, collaborate with a talented team, and actively participate in client meetings. Responsibilities include writing efficient code, connecting daily with leads, creating screens from wireframes, and writing and executing test cases using Jest. The ideal candidate will have 5-8 years of development experience, including experience with microservice architecture, APIs, and industry security best practices. A bachelor's or master's degree in a related field is required. The position offers the opportunity to work remotely.

Requirements

Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field

Responsibilities

• Write well-designed, efficient code that works across devices
• Develop mission-critical user experiences
• Actively participate in client meetings
• Connect daily with the leads to understand task and share progress
• Create screens as per wireframes
• Work on Jest for test case writing and execution
• Responsible for contributing toward 90% code coverage
• Promote and enforce awareness of key information security practices, including acceptable use of information assets, malware protection, and password security protocols
• Identify, assess, and report security risks, focusing on how these risks impact the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of information assets
• Understand and evaluate how data is stored, processed, or transmitted, ensuring compliance with data privacy and protection standards (GDPR, CCPA, etc.)
• Ensure data protection measures are integrated throughout the information lifecycle to safeguard sensitive information

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in designing and implementing scalable microservice architecture
• 5 to 8 years of development experience
• 2+ years of experience in building and managing APIs to industry-accepted RESTful standards
• Experience in industry security best practices to applications and system development
• Collaborate with other developers, testers, and system engineers to ensure the quality of products
• React Query experience
• Material UI/Mantine experience
• Expertise in React JS, HTML, CSS, Typescript, JavaScript, jQuery, Jest
