React Native Engineer

Requirements

• Have a strong understanding of core computer science principles
• Have 4+ years professional experience working in and writing code within React Native environment
• Have very strong proficiency in JavaScript, Typescript, and ES6+
• Have familiarity with tools like Axios, Fetch API, Git, and Jest
• Experience working on a high scale or rapidly growing web application
• Are comfortable in a fast paced, pragmatic work environment
• Comfortable working with front end components
• Experience working in a remote team
• Are a strong written and verbal communicator; Advanced English language skills
• Must be able to flex at least 4 working hours to overlap with North American timezones; Requirement to work until 3pm EST (US)

Responsibilities

• Build user interfaces for web applications using React.js library and develop code using React Native framework
• Ensure the building of reusable and scalable components in React Native
• Problem solve, de-bug, and optimize code, ensuring proper deployment of React Native applications to various hosting environments
• Develop code that is platform-specific, ensuring access to native modules and functions
• Utilize your knowledge and proficiency in Javascript, Typescript, HTML, and CSS
• Showcase and apply application state management and routing for React Native, including local component libraries such as Redux
• Build and utilize tools to ensure proper integrations, testing and version controls
• Utilize knowledge of CI/CD practices for mobile app development
• Drive functionality and features through the use of integrated, third party libraries
• Gain a deep understanding of our product and become involved in driving out product implementation
