React Native Engineer

Summary

Join Pennylane, a rapidly growing Fintech company in France, as a React Native Developer and contribute to building a scalable platform for European SMEs. You will be part of a 10-person Mobile squad, working alongside product managers, designers, and engineers to develop, test, and release mobile features. You will also be involved in supporting customers, improving the mobile developer experience, and contributing to the CI/CD process. Requirements

• At least 4 years of commercial experience with React or React Native
• At least 3 years of commercial experience with Mobile development
• A strong experience building complex mobile apps in a context of scale
• A Customer-first mindset and the ability to prioritize well
• You are Fluent in English (French is not required)

Responsibilities

• As a React Native Developer, you will be part of a 150+ people Tech organisation
• Each engineer is part of a squad focusing on a part of the product, reporting to a team lead or an engineering manager
• You will join the Mobile squad, working alongside a 10-people team focused on mobile development
• This squad was created in September 2023, and benefits from the experience of a strong tech organization, while enjoying the flexibility of being on its own codebase and work environment
• You will be working daily with a product manager, a mobile designer and software engineers
• You will take part of the discovery phase of the projects with the product manager and mobile designer to define the feature to build; then you will participate with other engineers to design the software architecture, build it, test it and release it to production
• The squad is also working on supporting customers using the features built by monitoring and fixing issues in production
• You’ll also work on improving the mobile developer experience, the CI/CD, and best practices
