React Native Engineer

Summary

The role involves designing, implementing, and maintaining new features, delivering high-quality code within deadlines, expanding unit tests, and optimizing app performance. Staying current with mobile app development trends is crucial. You will also participate in an on-call rotation. Requirements

• Strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and React Native development
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs, Redux, and CI/CD pipelines
• Experience using Git for source control
• Experience writing and maintaining unit, integration, and end-to-end tests (e.g. Detox or Maestro)
• Ability to understand and translate business requirements into technical solutions
• Solid understanding of SOLID principles and best coding practices
• A proactive, self-driven approach, with excellent problem-solving and communication skills

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with product managers, UX designers, and business stakeholders to analyze requirements and develop solutions
• Design, implement, and maintain new features while managing the existing codebase
• Deliver high-quality code within set deadlines, ensuring clean, maintainable solutions
• Expand and maintain comprehensive unit tests and increase code coverage
• Optimize app performance to create smooth, responsive mobile experiences
• Stay ahead of the curve by keeping up-to-date with the latest trends and innovations in mobile app development
• Willingness to participate in our on-call rota

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with Swift, Objective-C, Xcode, Java, Android SDK, and iOS SDK
