The ideal candidate possesses 2–4 years of litigation experience, a Juris Doctor, and an active Texas law license; however, motivated entry-level attorneys are encouraged to apply. Requirements

  • Juris Doctor and active license to practice law in Texas
  • 2–4 years of litigation experience preferred (motivated entry-level licensed attorneys with relevant interest are welcome to apply)
  • Availability to attend hearings and proceedings in Texas
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and analytical skills
  • Comfort with Microsoft Office Suite and legal research tools
  • Strong self-direction and time management; ability to meet an annual billing target of 1,920 hours

Responsibilities

  • Manage a diverse docket of litigation and pre-litigation matters tied to real estate, title, mortgages, foreclosure, and creditor’s rights
  • Draft pleadings, argue motions, and handle discovery and court appearances (remote and in-person)
  • Work closely with clients to build strategy and deliver outstanding service
  • Conduct research, analyze risks, and provide recommendations with a focus on results
  • Support bankruptcy-related matters as needed
  • Collaborate with a team that values efficiency, integrity, and innovative legal thinking

Preferred Qualifications

  • Admission to practice in additional states within the firm's footprint
  • Familiarity with secured transactions and title resolution
