Summary

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in a sales role, with demonstrated ability to lead outbound sales and conduct customer-facing demos
  • Experience in B2B or B2C Technology and SaaS sales
  • Proficient in sales tools like Salesforce, Gong, dialers, LinkedIn, and ZoomInfo

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with the CEO & COO to identify high-priority leads in a specific region and craft an execution plan to reach and convert these leads
  • Thoughtfully execute the full sales cycle (i.e. cold and warm outreach, leading demos, in-person meetings, proposal, contract negotiations, and closing) against quotas
  • Drive product demos with key stakeholders, identifying their painpoints and needs, and effectively demonstrating our products’ value-add
  • Spend 30 - 50% of your time meeting leads and prospects at conferences and events, developing meaningful relationships, serving as their thought partner for digital transformation, and conducting demos in person
  • Maintain engagement with leads through proactive communications
  • Innovate established and traditional sales processes in local government to find creative ways of reaching our target customers
  • Actively seek out feedback from customers to ensure our product suite aligns with user needs; communicate this feedback to our executive team and engineers
  • Collaborate closely with our operations and design team to suggest and drive improvements in sales processes
  • Develop product expertise, understand the competitive landscape, and stay up to date with industry trends
  • Regularly update and maintain our sales CRM
