Summary
Join Velocity Global as a Regional Network Specialist and manage payroll vendors and partners in the AMERICAS region. Based remotely in Colombia, you will recruit, enable, and manage partner relationships to drive growth and enhance customer experiences. Your expertise in payroll and vendor management is crucial for fostering collaboration between partners and Velocity Global teams. You will work closely with internal operations and external partners, ranging from large firms to boutique agencies. This role reports to the Senior Manager of Global Network, Payroll and requires strong communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in payroll vendor management managing a network of partners, preferably in the EOR, PEO, HCM
- 2+ years of experience in AMERICAS
- Must have extensive industry knowledge and understanding of payroll and project timelines
- Strong communication and be able to have difficult conversations with partners in less favorable situations
- Research-oriented, exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail with the ability to quickly assimilate information
- Excellent presentation and written communication, listening, and consultative skills
- Drive, strong work ethic, and a passion to deliver unparalleled customer experiences
Responsibilities
- Identify potential partners through research, referrals & outreach in order to achieve total regional coverage
- Interview prospective partners to determine their capabilities, qualifications and fit with the organization's goals & needs
- Negotiate proposals & perform cost analysis and recommend the most cost-effective partner that covers all the services to leadership
- Review contracts and ensure both internal and external stakeholders sign off on the contract and are on board with the partnership
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of our product offerings and the requirements for each service line
- Maintain the partners' compliance and contracts up to date
- Conduct an annual review and negotiate pricings and terms with the partners to ensure alignment with company objectives and requirements
- Ensure the partners are consistently meeting our timelines and providing reports back within our agreed timeframe
- Nourish and track the health of existing partner relationships
- Track and report on partner performance matrix
- Conduct quarterly performance reviews to assess partner performance and identify opportunities for improvement
- Keep partners up to date on product/process developments & best practices
- Gather partner feedback on our product and processes and communicate this to internal stakeholders
- Develop and implement strategies to improve partner satisfaction & retention
- Establish partner redundancy by building a diverse portfolio of partners
- Ensure the internal SOPs are adhered to and consistently followed by all parties
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Payroll and HR Operations and Finance, to deliver a successful solution and result at all times
- Work closely with the Tech Team to enhance technology reach and streamline processes for all parties
Preferred Qualifications
Fluency in the English and Business proficiency in another language is preferred
