Summary

Join NETZSCH Pumps USA as a self-motivated Industrial Regional Sales Manager to drive the Industrial business in California, managing sales activities, supporting distributors, and increasing market share penetration.

Requirements

  • Previous experience selling industrial equipment, preferably pumps
  • Solid negotiation skills which includes the ability to communicate, persuade, strategize and cooperate
  • Must be driven to achieve results. Position holder must be able to develop Regional Strategy Plans including specific roadmaps to reach the established sales and profitability goals in the assigned region
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Excellent organizational skills with demonstrated ability to execute projects on time
  • The ability to have related business and technical discussions as well as the ability to speak in front of groups
  • A valid driver’s license and current passport

Responsibilities

  • Technically and commercially support distributors in the Industrial market
  • Sell NETZSCH pumps, grinders, and spare parts and service to meet or exceed region sales revenue plan as established by the Industrial Director and NETZSCH Pumps management
  • Research, analyze and recommend new sales partners (primary or niche) for the region when necessary
  • Provide required training to sales partner’s staff on products, applications, competition, commercial issues, company policies and operational procedures
  • Make joint sales calls with sales partners or service personnel to build relationships with key customers in the region
  • Represent NETZSCH at trade shows and industry events
  • Provide the Company with market trends, sales growth strategies and competitive intelligence. Participate in marketing activities as required
