
Rehab Consultant - Physio or Occupational Therapist

Join TWS, a trusted partner in workplace rehabilitation in Tasmania, as an Occupational Therapist or Physiotherapist. This part-time position offers flexibility, autonomy, and the chance to increase to full-time. You will conduct worksite assessments, ergonomic evaluations, and pre-employment physicals to improve employee well-being and prevent injuries. The role requires accreditation, relevant experience, strong assessment skills, and excellent communication abilities. Requirements
- Accredited within your discipline, with full relevant registration
- Experience or interest in working in occupational health or clinical health settings, with primary caseloads being musculoskeletal and occupational health
- Strong assessment and observational skills
- Clear and effective verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent exercise and activity prescription skills
- Confidence to deliver in-person educational material to both individuals and groups of participants
- Demonstrated time management skills, and ability to manage a diverse workload with competing priorities
- Positive outlook with the ability to engage and influence and drive positive health outcomes
- Hold and maintain a current Australian Driverโs License, and a working with vulnerable people registration
Responsibilities
- Deliver a variety of services to clients including: Work site and Work place assessments, assisting in RTW after injury
- Ergonomic or Workstation Assessments
- Pre-employment or RTW physical assessments
- With the aim of improving employee well-being, preventing injuries, and enhancing performance, an OT or Physio at TWS provides evidenced based assessment, planning, and exercise-based interventions of the highest quality
Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge of workerโs compensation, rehabilitation and occupational health and safety legislation is beneficial
