Remediations Executive

Summary

Join Target Group's internal project as a Remediations Executive for a fixed-term contract until the end of 2025! This fully remote position, starting in July 2025, offers a competitive salary of £25,000. You will handle mortgage remediation cases, manage customer service inquiries, resolve complaints, and ensure regulatory compliance. Responsibilities include communicating with borrowers, processing payments, and performing administrative tasks. The ideal candidate possesses strong customer service, mortgage servicing, and compliance experience, along with excellent analytical and communication skills. Requirements

• Strong experience in Customer Service, Mortgage Servicing, Compliance, or a related financial field
• Reasonable understanding of mortgage industry regulations
• Proficient in, and familiar with loan servicing / claim management databases and software / remediation processing tools
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills to effectively handle vulnerable customers
• Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy

Responsibilities

• Handle cases of mortgage remediation, handling customer services queries for both closed and live accounts, active complaint management/dispute resolution and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements
• Communicate directly with borrowers to explain findings and/or discuss remediation options
• Process remediation payments and adjustments in loan servicing systems
• General customer service and First Point of Contact complaint management
• Undertake administrative tasks; processing activities such as debtor tracing, returned mail and workflow management
• Provide support and assistance in other areas of loan/remediation servicing as needed
