Responsibilities

  • Monitor and analyze KPIs related to accounting operations, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions
  • Optimize cash application and payment reconciliation processes to improve operational efficiency and accuracy
  • Collaborate with Engineering to introduce automation tools that enhance workflows and reduce manual efforts
  • Train and guide the accounting operations team on policies, procedures, and best practices to ensure high performance
  • Assist in the development and implementation of internal controls to mitigate financial risks and ensure compliance with regulations
  • Support the onboarding and offboarding of brand partners, ensuring smooth financial transitions and closure of payments
  • Perform periodic reviews of uncleared checks to ensure accurate and up-to-date financial records
  • Manage the legal suit process in collaboration with the legal team to ensure compliance and proper accounting treatment
  • Oversee invoice generation and revenue reconciliation, ensuring accurate billing and financial reporting
  • Prepare audit letters and other support documentation for internal and external audits
  • Supervise and manage a team of accounting specialists, providing mentorship, performance evaluations, and career development support

About the Role

The Accounting Operations Supervisor will oversee and manage the daily operations of our accounting functions, focusing on the cash application and payment reconciliation processes. This role is crucial in ensuring the financial operations team meets key performance indicators (KPIs) and adheres to the established internal controls and compliance standards. The Accounting Operations Supervisor will lead a team of specialists, ensuring the efficient and accurate execution of the order-to-cash cycle and will collaborate closely with other departments such as Engineering and Brand Payments to optimize workflows. This position offers a unique opportunity for a leader with strong accounting operations experience, problem-solving skills, and an interest in driving process improvements through automation and team leadership.
