Summary

Requirements
- Bachelorβs degree in a related field or equivalent experience
- 3-5 years of experience as a Data Analyst, Analytics Engineer, or similar role
- 3-5 years of experience working with Tableau in a corporate environment
- Expert with SQL and cloud-based data platforms such as GCP or AWS
- Knowledge and familiarity with a VCS such as GitHub
- Familiarity with data governance, data security, and privacy best practices
- Understanding of data modeling, database design, and query optimization techniques
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to convey technically complex ideas and information to non-technical audiences
- Strong teamwork and collaboration skills and the ability to work efficiently with a variety of people and personalities in a cross-functional environment
- Ability to handle multiple projects and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with departments to understand data requirements and objectives
- Help to define and implement the overall reporting strategy, ensuring alignment with business objectives and aligning to current OKRs
- Develop and maintain SQL queries to extract, clean, and manipulate data from various sources
- Design, publish and maintain Tableau data sources
- Create insightful visualizations and reports using BigQuery and Tableau
- Establish and enforce data quality standards and governance policies to ensure data integrity and compliance
- Perform quality assessments to ensure data accuracy and integrity
- Use version control platforms such as GitHub to store and maintain code base
- Clearly communicate findings and insights effectively to executive leadership and stakeholders
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of system configuration, data models, and processes
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including analysts, and software engineers, to understand data requirements and provide support as necessary
- Share knowledge and best practices with team members to foster a culture of learning and continuous improvement
