Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience
  • 3-5 years of experience as a Data Analyst, Analytics Engineer, or similar role
  • 3-5 years of experience working with Tableau in a corporate environment
  • Expert with SQL and cloud-based data platforms such as GCP or AWS
  • Knowledge and familiarity with a VCS such as GitHub
  • Familiarity with data governance, data security, and privacy best practices
  • Understanding of data modeling, database design, and query optimization techniques
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to convey technically complex ideas and information to non-technical audiences
  • Strong teamwork and collaboration skills and the ability to work efficiently with a variety of people and personalities in a cross-functional environment
  • Ability to handle multiple projects and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with departments to understand data requirements and objectives
  • Help to define and implement the overall reporting strategy, ensuring alignment with business objectives and aligning to current OKRs
  • Develop and maintain SQL queries to extract, clean, and manipulate data from various sources
  • Design, publish and maintain Tableau data sources
  • Create insightful visualizations and reports using BigQuery and Tableau
  • Establish and enforce data quality standards and governance policies to ensure data integrity and compliance
  • Perform quality assessments to ensure data accuracy and integrity
  • Use version control platforms such as GitHub to store and maintain code base
  • Clearly communicate findings and insights effectively to executive leadership and stakeholders
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of system configuration, data models, and processes
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including analysts, and software engineers, to understand data requirements and provide support as necessary
  • Share knowledge and best practices with team members to foster a culture of learning and continuous improvement
