Autonomous Vehicle Service Engineer

As an Operations Team member, you'll be responsible for remote vehicle operations, maintenance, and systems testing on a shift-based schedule. Requirements

• Diploma in relevant field or equivalent experience
• Proven experience in vehicle/transport operations and testing
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Experience with vehicle/transport technologies and systems
• Hands-on experience in mechanical systems and electrical/electronic wiring
• Hands-on experience with Linux OS environment
• Knowledge and background in Robotics/Automation
• Hands-on experience in Bash, Python, C++ and ROS is a plus
• Possession of a Class 3 Driving licence is a plus

Responsibilities

• Conduct diagnostics and maintenance on autonomous vehicles
• Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate new technologies and features into autonomous vehicle systems
• Execute testing procedures for autonomous vehicle systems in an operational environment
• Provide technical support to on-site and remote teams during autonomous vehicle operations
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues promptly to minimize downtime
• Monitor and control the real-time operations of autonomous vehicles
• Execute and manage autonomous vehicle operations to ensure safe and efficient performance
• Respond promptly to system alerts and emergencies, taking corrective actions as necessary
• Work on a shift-based schedule to ensure 24/7 coverage for autonomous vehicle operations
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain continuous and reliable system functionality during all shifts
• Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols and compliance with regulatory requirements
