We’re looking for a passionate Backend Engineer, who’ll join our Product Engineering – Frontend & Backoffice division, someone who not only understands product goals and can assess the feasibility of proposed features, but who also brings strong experience in cross-department communication and a desire to make a meaningful impact through their work.

What you’ll do

• Develop various services for new features and integrations with other retail providers and internal divisions.
• Design and develop RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Take on projects where you’ll have the opportunity to lead independent tasks or act as a solution designer in collaboration with other departments.
• Work closely with the product development team to help shape technical specifications for features.
• Primarily use Python to implement different solutions.
• Utilize additional technologies and tools to support and maintain our architecture, including Golang, Django, MySQL, and more.

On day one you’ll bring

• A solid engineering foundation, high motivation, and a growth mindset.
• Proficiency in Python; knowledge of Golang and Django is a plus.
• A strong understanding of web application architecture and the ability to manage projects independently.
• Excellent communication skills, especially for working with product stakeholders, where you’ll be responsible for preparing technical specifications and solutions.
• Experience building highly scalable and high-performance web services.
• Familiarity with Scrum/Agile development methodologies.
• Proficiency in English.
• The ability to solve complex programming challenges, working both independently and as part of a team.
