Remote Backend Engineer

Requirements

• A solid engineering foundation, high motivation, and a growth mindset
• Proficiency in Python; knowledge of Golang and Django is a plus
• A strong understanding of web application architecture and the ability to manage projects independently
• Excellent communication skills, especially for working with product stakeholders, where you’ll be responsible for preparing technical specifications and solutions
• Experience building highly scalable and high-performance web services
• Familiarity with Scrum/Agile development methodologies
• Proficiency in English
• The ability to solve complex programming challenges, working both independently and as part of a team

Responsibilities

• Develop various services for new features and integrations with other retail providers and internal divisions
• Design and develop RESTful APIs and microservices
• Take on projects where you’ll have the opportunity to lead independent tasks or act as a solution designer in collaboration with other departments
• Work closely with the product development team to help shape technical specifications for features
