Summary

Join the Public Cloud Portfolio Unit as a Backend Engineer OTC and contribute to the development and operation of Open Telekom Cloud, a public cloud standard product based on open source community software. As a professional and evangelist with enthusiasm for cloud technology, you will work in an intercultural team with flat hierarchies and independent working-style.

Requirements

• Completed studies in a technical, engineering or scientific subject or comparable professional training
• 2-5 years of professional experience in IT with a focus on modern cloud technologies
• Strong experience in Linux and network related services
• Some knowledge in infrastructure automation (e.g. Ansible/AWX)

Responsibilities

• Develop and enhance our Open Telekom Cloud platform in a customer-oriented manner
• Solve complex problems in the daily operation of a hyper-scaler's cloud backend
• Driving new feature deployment and problem solving to enable higher customer satisfaction
• Work hardware-oriented at the console and get your hands 'dirty
• Consistently automate with common automation frameworks
