Remote Backend Software Engineer

Summary

Join UpCloud's development team as a Backend Software Engineer and contribute to the success of our Managed Kubernetes Service. You'll develop key Kubernetes backend components, integrate the product with internal systems, and work in a tightly-knit team of experienced developers.

Requirements

• Experience on backend Software development in Go
• Knowledge or experience in container orchestration with Kubernetes
• True motivation to grow your knowledge deeper into Kubernetes and containers engineering

Responsibilities

• Develop key Kubernetes backend components
• Integrate the product with our internal systems
• Discuss with the team and Product Manager which relevant use cases from our customers we may prioritise
• Research and build proof of concepts with your peers, exploring the approach you choose to those cases
• Develop the solution in sprints, till it is in production ready state
