Requirements

  • Passion for Code.org’s mission and the TeachAI vision
  • Ability to execute given high-level direction and frequently check in for alignment with the TeachAI lead
  • The ideal candidate should have a background in creative design, education, or media studies, with at least three years of experience in content production across various media formats, including website and graphic design, within the context of education
  • Exceptional writing and editing skills. Experience creating marketing materials as well as writing reports, briefs, or academic papers
  • Proficiency with a wide variety of tools, including Generative AI tools, Google Suite, Canva or other design tools, spreadsheets, video conferencing, form builders, project management software, etc
  • Exceptional teamwork skills with a positive, solutions-driven approach
  • Flexibility and willingness to work in a fast-paced, start-up environment

Responsibilities

  • Produce creative products and materials, such as case studies, slide decks, rubrics, and one-pagers, that facilitate the quick adoption and implementation of TeachAI guidance by education leaders, curriculum and professional development providers, and policymakers
  • Manage the TeachAI product roadmap, including product specifications, timelines, milestones, and reviews, in collaboration with the Director of Partnerships and Operations
  • Manage website development and strategy, including vendor management, SEO audits, UX/UI improvements, content updates, and the execution of a comprehensive web product strategy
  • Design, organize, and facilitate focus groups, interviews, and user experience studies with stakeholders, including teachers, parents, students, and policymakers, to inform the content and format of TeachAI outputs
  • Collaborate with external partners to create curriculum, professional development, and assessment exemplars across various subjects, all aligned with TeachAI thought leadership
  • Craft engaging marketing content, such as blogs, social media posts, reports, and videos, in collaboration with a video producer, to boost awareness and use of TeachAI resources
  • Develop and manage a content production calendar and process, working closely with the Director of Operations and Partnerships to ensure content is distributed across appropriate channels, including website and email

Preferred Qualifications

  • Excellent speaking skills
  • Ability to self-produce and edit video, including proficiency with video editing tools
  • Ability and willingness to travel a few times per year for multi-day workshops and conferences
