Remote Data Engineer

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or related field
• 1+ years of experience with PySpark in building and managing notebooks
• Proficient in Python for data manipulation and transformation
• Strong knowledge of Power BI
• Strong SQL skills with experience in writing complex queries
• Experience in building data models and visualizations in Power BI to support business insights

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable notebooks using PySpark
• Develop and optimize data models, reports, and dashboards in Power BI
• Work with datasets and perform data transformations using Python and SQL
• Collaborate with data analysts and business stakeholders to understand data requirements and provide accurate solutions
• Ensure data quality, performance tuning, and optimization of data processes
• Implement best practices in data engineering, including data governance, security, and documentation

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with ETL tools and data orchestration frameworks
• Expertise in DAX for advanced analytics
• Knowledge of DevOps principles and CI/CD pipelines for data solutions
• Strong analytical skills and ability to work with datasets
