Senior Staff Engineer Data Center Network Engineer

Join our dynamic and non-hierarchical company as we seek an experienced Cisco Data Center Network Engineer to design, implement, and maintain our data center infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Cisco networking technologies, particularly in a data center environment.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in a similar role, with a focus on Cisco data center networking
• Expertise in Cisco Nexus series and ACI architecture
• Strong understanding of Layer 2 and Layer 3 networking protocols
• Experience with network automation tools and scripting (e.g., Python, Ansible)
• Proficient in network monitoring and troubleshooting tools (e.g., Wireshark, SolarWinds)
• Familiarity with virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V)
• CCNP Data Center, CCIE Data Center, or equivalent certification is preferred

Responsibilities

• Design and deploy Cisco-based network solutions in data center environments
• Configure and manage complex network topologies
• Monitor and optimize network performance
• Diagnose and resolve network issues
• Implement and manage network security measures
• Create and maintain detailed network documentation
• Work closely with other IT teams to ensure seamless integration of network services
• Stay up-to-date with the latest Cisco technologies and industry trends, recommending improvements and upgrades to the data center infrastructure
• Develop and implement disaster recovery and business continuity plans for the network infrastructure
