Remote DevOps Lead

We are looking for a talented DevOps Lead to join our team🚀! Definity First is on the lookout for a DevOps Lead to join our team remotely, based anywhere in LATAM. 🌎

In this role, you’ll take the lead in designing, implementing, and managing our cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines that power our cutting-edge, cloud-native, event-driven microservices. If you have deep expertise in AWS, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and pipeline orchestration, and love working with cross-functional teams, this could be the perfect opportunity for you!🌟

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in DevOps, cloud infrastructure, or system operations.📅
• Expertise in AWS services such as Lambda, ECS, S3, CloudWatch, and API Gateway.☁️
• Strong knowledge of CI/CD tools, with 5+ years of experience in tools like GitHub Actions and Azure DevOps Pipelines.🔧
• Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) experience with Terraform and Terragrunt is highly preferred.📜
• 5+ years of experience in observability, monitoring, and alerting systems. Datadog experience is a major advantage.📊
• Leadership experience with cross-functional teams and mentoring junior engineers.
• Advanced English.

Main Activities

• Lead and mentor the DevOps team in building, maintaining, and optimizing AWS infrastructure for microservices and serverless applications.🏗️
• Architect and manage CI/CD pipelines, including transitioning services from Azure DevOps to GitHub Actions.🔄
• Implement and maintain best practices for Infrastructure as Code (IaC).🛠️
• Ensure continuous monitoring, alerting, and operational excellence for our cloud-native systems.🔍
• Work closely with software engineers to streamline build, test, and deployment workflows.🤝
• Automate processes to enhance system reliability, observability, and security at scale.⚙️
• Provide mentorship to junior DevOps engineers and help foster their growth.🌱
