Requirements

  • Associate or bachelorโ€™s degree in graphic design, advertising design or a closely related field
  • 2+ years of experience working on digital design at agency or in-house marketing department developing social content, HTML emails and web designs for a company, organization or personal brand
  • Portfolio and/or website required
  • Strong understanding of the principles of design, and a good eye for branding
  • Advanced knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite
  • Well-rounded in social media, brand identity, print digital design
  • Is reliable and courteous to colleagues. Is team-oriented, can collaborate well with other and take direction
  • Proficiency in HTML and CSS (video animation a plus)

Responsibilities

  • Work projects from ideation through completion, working with leadership, project managers and design colleagues to deliver effective well-balanced design options that meet brand standards and campaign requirements
  • Express our value proposition creatively through traditional and digital assets. Design deliverables may include but are not limited to: executive presentations, video, HTML emails, website design, omni-channel campaigns, digital advertisements, print collateral, event marketing materials, swag and t-shirt design
  • Execute persuasive and informational designs by demonstrating strong graphic design skill sets including a keen eye for layout balance, typography, color while maintaining brand integrity and adherence to brand guidelines
  • Develop a thorough understanding of Mutual of Omaha's Brand Guidelines, to maintain brand standards, communicate proper logo usage and deliver the companies brand voice to both internal and external audiences
  • Collaborate with the marketing team, leadership, and sales to formulate and conceptualize creative ideas

Job description

Mutual of Omaha Mortgage is looking for a Digital Graphic Designer that will be responsible for designing and executing on a variety of conventional print and digital media projects from concept through implementation for internal and external audiences. This includes, but is not limited to print collateral, direct mail, social media, web and email design, etc. The right candidate should have a proven aesthetic track record (good eye for brand consistency, layout, type, color and photography), demonstrates strong application, and problem-solving skills to deliver successful design outcomes that drive marketing objectives and sales goals. Financial services experience preferred but not required

What You’ll Do
