• Strong background in AI/ML solutions, backend technologies (Node.js, Go, Java), and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure)
• Proven ability to lead and mentor large, diverse teams, fostering a culture of continuous learning and excellence
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience in navigating resource-constrained environments using first-principles thinking

Responsibilities

• Oversee Proximity’s AI/ML solutions, performance engineering, and data engineering verticals
• Lead Proximity’s managed engineering and consulting services, ensuring high-impact client engagements that align with business goals
• Lead and mentor a 50+ remote engineering team
• Oversee the development of robust backend systems and scalable platforms
• Engage with client CTOs and senior leadership in a consultative capacity
• Collaborate with executive leadership to shape the technological vision and align it with Proximity’s broader business strategy
