Requirements

  • 4-10 years of professional experience with an environmental/engineering consulting firm
  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in engineering from an accredited program
  • 40-hour OSHA HAZWOPER and 10-hour OSHA Construction training
  • Technical experience with in-situ and ex-situ treatment system design, cost estimating, local/state/federal permitting, and design and implementation of site remediation programs
  • Experience completing permit and design plans and specifications for local, state, and federal agencies
  • Knowledge of local regulatory programs
  • Experience with management of remediation contractors
  • Demonstrated experience with scoping, budgeting, and implementation of remedial programs
  • Ability to delegate and organize field teams

Responsibilities

  • Lead and complete technical tasks for remediation projects
  • Select, coordinate, and manage subcontractors
  • Estimate costs and manage the scope, schedule, and budget for various project tasks
  • Prepare detailed design plans and specifications
  • Conduct remediation construction bid evaluations
  • Interact with contractors, clients, and regulatory agencies
