Summary

Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
  • Experience: 7+ years of experience in civil engineering, with a strong focus on site layout and stormwater design projects

Responsibilities

  • Project and Team Leadership : Lead and manage civil engineering projects from conception through construction, ensuring timely and efficient delivery while providing technical guidance to project teams
  • Design and Development: Oversee and develop detailed civil engineering designs for infrastructure projects such as site layout, grading, drainage, utilities, and roadways, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations as well as Ramboll’s sustainability goals
  • Client Interaction and Collaboration: Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs, present design solutions, and maintain strong professional relationships; work closely with multidisciplinary teams, including architects, environmental, geotechnical, mechanical and electrical engineers, and construction professionals to integrate civil engineering solutions
  • Project Documentation and Risk Management : Prepare and review detailed engineering reports, specifications, and construction documents; identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure project success
  • Innovation: Stay current with industry trends and innovations, integrating new technologies and practices into project delivery

Preferred Qualifications

Licensure: Active Professional Engineering licensure preferred
