Remote Freight Audit Payment BPO Senior

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Freight Audit and Pay Specialist to play a pivotal role in our logistics and transportation team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing and executing the freight payment and audit processes, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency. Proficiency in industry-standard software such as 3GTMS for freight bill management and TriumphPay for accounts payable processing is essential.

Responsibilities

• Execute the freight audit and payment process, ensuring accurate and timely processing of freight bills.
• Support the utilization of 3GTMS to optimize shipping operations and maintain data accuracy in the transportation management system.
• Assist in managing relationships with carriers and vendors, ensuring compliance with contracts and resolving payment discrepancies under guidance.
• Contribute to the implementation and utilization of TriumphPay to streamline payment processes and improve transaction transparency.
• Collaborate with IT and cross-functional teams to address system issues and ensure smooth operation of software tools.
• Assist in the development and maintenance of internal controls and procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards.
• Participate in analyzing transportation and freight cost data to identify trends and cost-saving opportunities.
• Provide support and guidance to junior team members on freight audit and payment processes.
• Assist in preparing reports and presentations for management on freight payment trends and performance metrics.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, supply chain management, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in freight audit and payment or related roles within the transportation and logistics industry.
• Proficiency in industry-standard software such as 3GTMS and TriumphPay.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and quality assurance.
