Requirements

  • University degree in Computer science with a background in Robotics, Data, and AI engineering, preferably with postgraduate qualification at the PhD level, focusing on software development
  • Hands-on knowledge of robotics and AI open-source libraries, such as ROS, OpenCV, TensorFlow, PyTorch, Keras, etc would be preferred
  • At least 4 years experience in working directly with technical teams with proven track records
  • Ideally 2 years experience in National or European research programs in ICT
  • Experience and a strong background in software design and development, software development lifecycle, and ICT project management
  • Experience in production engineering, or robotic applications, IOT, AI for manufacturing, especially in terms of manufacturing and industrial requirements
  • Excellent command of English and Greek, both written and oral
  • Good interpersonal, organization, and communication skills, with the ability to work in a diverse team environment
  • Good analytical skills, as well as a proactive attitude towards solving problems

Responsibilities

  • Management and implementation of EC-funded IT projects
  • Elaboration of the full suite of document deliverables and reports for R&D projects and business development activities (requirements, conceptual models, specifications, implementation and integration plans, etc)
  • Design, development, and documentation of new manufacturing technologies, and solutions, including AI for manufacturing, Greening production lines, personalized production, and other related projects
  • Design and implement new manufacturing processes and technologies for the next generation of intelligent production lines

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in designing H2020/ Horizon Europe proposals and coordinating or implementing relevant projects
