Remote Intermediate Test Engineer, Automation (Python)

We invite a talented Test Engineer with strong automation testing skills and Python expertise to join our team. You’ll help develop and maintain a vital component of our client’s flagship product – a robust POS solution for restaurant and food service management. This solution operates in the offline-proof mode, creating orders, synchronizing with cloud and on-premise systems, supporting third-party software, and integrating with diverse hardware devices.

✅ Is that you?

• 1.5+ years of automation testing experience
• Proficiency in Python and Pytest
• Strong mobile automation skills
• Good understanding of CI/CD processes and tools like Jenkins
• Experience with Docker and container orchestration tools
• Familiarity with microservices testing and related tools
• Basic knowledge of AWS
• Ability to work with complex testing documentation and adopt new information quickly
• Strong time management skills; excellent communication and collaboration abilities
• Intermediate+ English level

Desirable:

• Familiarity with advanced AWS services and ecosystem components
• Understanding of Elasticsearch and related tools

🧩Key responsibilities and your contribution

In this role, you’ll be an important contributor to our development process, handling test planning, test case design, and test automation with the help of industry-leading tools and frameworks.

• Automate testing processes using Python, create and update automation tests
• Set up test environments; prepare test data; obtain and clarify requirements as necessary
• Automate tests for new features
• Analyze, document, and report test results; maintain test-related documentation
• Make adjustments needed to perform UI testing
• Stay updated on new test automation technologies
• Communicate regularly with the development team and other units globally to support ongoing activities
