Remote IT Security Engineer

Requirements

• Expertise in managing device lifecycles (Jamf proficiency preferred), ideally in a remote-first company
• Proficiency in automation with experience managing configuration at scale for MacOS and Linux environments
• Experience with SAML-based authentication and Identity Application Management (Okta, Google Workspace)
• Scripting skills (Python, Bash) with a proven track record of automating compliance checks, device configurations, and other IT security tasks
• Deep understanding of endpoint security standards (NIST/CIS) and using automation to apply configurations at scale
• Strong hands-on experience with VPNs, firewalls, and secure network environments, with knowledge of best-in-class security practices like zero trust and "secure by default" models
• Proven ability to maintain compliance with SOC2 and/or ISO27001 standards, including the development of processes and documentation for audits and certifications targeting endpoint security
