Junior Finance Analyst

Summary

Join our team as a Junior Finance Analyst and contribute to our ambitious goals in the Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) Team on a 6-month FTC. You will be involved in various tasks from supporting the month end analysis and reporting process to assisting in the forecasting and budgeting process.

Requirements

• Previous experience working within a finance role, preferably with 2 years of experience in a similar position with experience using a finance system
• High degree of numeracy and analytical thinking
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work with large quantities of data
• Able to prioritise, and manage workload efficiently and effectively
• Advanced Excel skills are desired and experience with Microsoft Dynamics would be an advantage
• Ability to work with confidential information and maintain data security
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to build strong working relationships with peers and stakeholders

Responsibilities

• Work with the FP&A Manager, analyse and report data to support the finance teams, to increase and improve overall business performance
• Support with forecasting process and detailed re-forecasting of performance with clear reporting working collaboratively with budget holders
• Provide financial input and analysis to support decisions on wider business strategies, working closely with business stakeholders
• Assisting with the preparation of our month end reporting and analysis, and other ad hoc reporting through collecting and analysing both financial and non-financial data
• Working alongside our Account Managers, investigating and responding to customer billing queries
• Creating effective data visualisations in order to convey information and improve data literacy
• Supporting with various financial ad hoc projects/requests
