Legal Counsel

Summary

Join WongDoody's European Central Services team as a Legal Counsel! Based in Germany, you will advise and support teams across various business areas on legal topics, focusing on data protection, information security, AI, and more. You will draft and negotiate agreements, manage internal processes, and collaborate with external firms. This role requires a law degree, relevant experience, and fluency in German and English. Requirements

• Successfully completed studies in law or business law
• In-depth knowledge of data protection, information security, and artificial intelligence and knowledge of or interest in the other focus areas mentioned
• 2 years of legal work experience, preferably in the digital marketing or tech environment - as a business lawyer or (in-house) lawyer
• Fluent language skills in German and English

Responsibilities

• Advise and support our teams from all business areas with your expertise on legal topics
• Supporting design and management of internal processes, maintenance and supervision of our management systems
• Drafting and implementation of company policies
• Review, draft and negotiate agreements with internationally active clients and service providers
• Coordinate assignments of and cooperate with external law firms and service providers

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in the areas of process management and legal operations
• You’re interested in and excited about staying on top of the wave of the technical and legal developments in the fast-moving areas of digital content creation & AI, digital marketing and data privacy
• Independent and solution-oriented approach to work, strong organizational skills
• Passion for your profession and desire for exciting and varied work in a digital agency and in a motivated team
• Good feeling for an appropriate and helpful communication in dealing with your very diverse future colleagues and other business contacts
