Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Translation, Linguistics, Communications, or a related field
  • Proficiency in at least two foreign languages relevant to our main markets (French and German); fluency in English as our primary internal language
  • 5+ years of experience in localization in tech, translation company or agency
  • Proven experience in localization and translation management, preferably in managing multiple markets and brands
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and external vendors
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the localization of content across Belgium, Germany and France within the languages German, Flemish and French for our brands
  • Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors to ensure high-quality translations which are fitting the tone and voice of the brands as well as cultural nuances within the target markets
  • Create and continuously optimise a localization process for Aviv including connected tooling and vendors
  • Implement QA to ensure all translations in French, German and Dutch are meeting the expected quality and convey the intended message for all the target audiences
  • Collaborate with the UX-Writing team to ensure consistency within our terminology and content as well as shaping overarching guidance via e.g. Tone of Voice, agency briefings and UX Glossary
  • Build and maintain a collaborative relationship with all relevant stakeholders as e.g. Marketing, Legal, Product teams…
  • Implement, track and optimise quality metrics for localization efforts
  • Develop a strong understanding of cultural differences in the real estate industry and apply them to our products
  • Stay up to date with trends and technologies which helps to automise or scale localisation knowledge across various languages and teams

Job Description

WHAT WE DO IN THE BRAND EXPRESSION AND CONSISTENCY DOMAIN OF AVIV:

We are a group of specialists of the design department at AVIV ensuring design excellence and consistency by collaborating with peers and bringing expert knowledge to the AVIV Group. We are consisting of a Design System team, UX-Writing team, Design Operations and Service Design.  We are collaborating closely with product teams around us to ensure consistency across the group, accelerate the speed of developing new products and drive quality with our expert contributions. We are currently seeking our first Localization Specialist to join the Product and Design team, further enhancing our global reach and effectiveness.

WE ARE LOOKING FOR AN INDIVIDUAL WHO CAN:
