Remote Medical Writing Intern

Summary

Join Precision University's immersive, 100% remote, paid internship program for upcoming 2025 PharmD and PhD graduates. Requirements

• Be a PharmD or PhD candidate expected to graduate in Spring 2025
• Possess impeccable written and verbal communication skills
• Have expertise in gathering, evaluating, and summarizing scientific literature
• Know how to use Microsoft Office (PPT, Word, Excel) and Adobe Acrobat
• Have not accepted a full-time position that is scheduled to start post-graduation

Responsibilities

• Gain exposure to the principles of medical writing and clients’ developing groundbreaking medicines and treatments
• Learn how to develop content for a range of deliverables across a variety of target audiences
• Obtain the skills necessary to effectively evaluate literature, coordinate references, and check the accuracy of cited information utilized for promotional pharmaceutical marketing content and medical, legal, and regulatory submissions

Preferred Qualifications

• Have a working knowledge of the AMA style guide
• Have prior experience in Medical and Drug Information
• Have prior experience in Medical Affairs
• Have prior experience in Regulatory Affairs
• Have prior experience in New Product Commercialization
• Have prior experience in Promotional Agency
• Have a working knowledge of managed markets, healthcare, and the healthcare delivery system
• Have involvement in the professional organizations: Academy of Managed Care Pharmacy (AMCP) and Industry Pharmacists Organization (IPhO)
