About the Role

Our client is seeking a talented music producer to create a captivating soundtrack for a short animated film. The project requires the composition and production of one musical number and background music, with a focus on jazz and swing styles. This remote opportunity is ideal for a junior to mid-level professional looking to showcase their skills in a creative and dynamic setting.

Responsibilities:

• Compose and produce one musical number in jazz/swing style for the animated short

• Create background music that complements the animation and enhances the overall mood

• Collaborate with the project team to ensure the music aligns with the visual narrative

• Deliver high-quality audio files suitable for integration into the animated short

• Revise and refine compositions based on feedback from the project lead

• Manage time effectively to complete the project within the given timeframe (more than a week)

• Junior to mid-level experience in music production and composition

• Proficiency in creating jazz and swing-style music

• Familiarity with music production software and techniques

• Understanding of how music integrates with animation or film

• Strong communication skills for effective remote collaboration
