Remote Network Architect

Summary

Join DGR Systems as a Network Architect to lead technical discussions, design complex networks, and provide crucial support to our networking practice.

Requirements

• Minimum of 7 years of experience with network solutions
• Minimum of 5 years of experience with network switches and access points
• Experience in the deployment of network and security solutions
• Professional or Expert level network certification is required. Examples: Cisco CCNP, CCIE Fortinet FCSS (Formerly NSE 6, 7, or 8), Juniper JNCIP-ENT
• Strong knowledge of LAN/WAN administration and concepts including DHCP, DNS, VLAN's, NAT, wireless technology, and the ability to configure switches required

Responsibilities

• Lead technical discussions to understand business requirements and translate them into functional specifications such as the creation of Statements of Work (SOW) and Bill of Materials (BOM) for clients
• Architect complex designs including firewalls, switches, access points, and other network solutions to meet the needs of customers
• Develop and maintain technical deliverables including network assessments, capacity planning, detailed design documents, implementation/test plans configuration templates and scripts
• Engage with Delivery team to provide project design and customer requirements to ensure DGR success and customer delight
• Conduct proof of concepts at prospective customer sites
• Communicate constantly with the Sales team to formulate sales strategies, educate on DGR capabilities, and provide technical support in customer engagements
• Engage in peer review sessions to aid fellow engineers in optimizing the quality of their deliverables
