Remote Network Architect

Summary

Join the Constant Contact Network Engineering team as a Network Architect and contribute to designing, deploying, and maintaining network infrastructure across the enterprise. As a key member of the team, you will create reference architectures, design plans, and standards for secure and scalable network infrastructure. You will also be responsible for understanding business and technical requirements to develop advanced network solutions for global deployment.

Responsibilities

• Create reference architectures, design plans, roadmaps, and standards for secure, scalable network infrastructure across the enterprise
• Be responsible for understanding business and technical requirements to develop advanced network solutions for global deployment
• Evaluate and select technology solutions and gain organizational commitment for high-level network infrastructure plans
• Participate in the creation of policies, procedures, and staff development plans
• Lead major projects with little or no supervision
• Participate in life cycle projects of network gear: Automate day to day tasks of network provisioning
• Participate in delivering complex projects and also communicate well with other operations teams
• Work on DNS, Load balancer configurations
• Work on NGFWs, setup new connectivity to B2B partners, remote sites
• Deploy custom solutions, use existing tools to monitor the infrastructure
• Train and mentor junior engineers
• Work on PCI, SOC2 compliance initiatives
• Be a part of a 24x7 network engineering team and take part in On Call rotation
• Work with other operations teams to troubleshoot and fix complex issues
• Generate and update documentation and help with process streamlining
