Remote Online Italian Teacher

Join our team of passionate educators and teach Italian online. We're looking for experienced language teachers with a strong command of the language, teaching certificate, and technical skills.

Requirements

• Hold a C2 CEFR certificate if Italian is not your native language
• Have a degree in a language-related field (plus)
• Have proof of freelance status and be responsible for handling invoices and taxes

Responsibilities

• Have an outstanding command of the language you wish to teach
• Speak and write well in English for communication with the Online Teaching Team
• Hold a ITALS (or related) teaching certificate from a recognised educational institution
• Have teaching experience as a second language teacher
• Be very familiar with Zoom.us and enjoy discovering new features to incorporate in the virtual classroom
• Handle unexpected technical problems and challenging teaching situations confidently and professionally
• Keep students engaged and motivated by bridging the virtual gap
• Communicate easily with the Online Teaching Team when necessary
• Have an energetic and passionate teaching style, eager to learn from students and peers
