Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electronics Engineering or related field
  • Five (5) years’ post-baccalaureate experience as an IT Analyst or related role
  • Experience must include utilizing ServiceNow IT Service Management; utilizing principles of ITIL; leveraging Javascript; leveraging Web Services JSON and SOAP; and managing CMDB

Responsibilities

  • Design, architect, build, and support Brightspeed’s ServiceNow software solutions
  • Utilize ServiceNow to build a complete, accurate, and comprehensive software migration tool to migrate provisioning applications in a multi-cloud environment
  • Automate information processes such as configuration item discovery, updates, and relationships into the ServiceNow platform to map software solutions and applications to business services to improve performance, scalability, and stability
  • Monitor ServiceNow platform for usage trends and performance constraints, and troubleshoot and resolve conflicts between inter-system processes and platforms
  • Work with Brightspeed leadership and stakeholders within IT team to design a ServiceNow software solution to support Brightspeed initiatives addressing information governance, data migration, and risk and cybersecurity measures

Job Description

Design, architect, build, and support Brightspeed’s ServiceNow software solutions, including the development of an End-to-End system migration roadmap (with explicit processes) to support areas of order fulfillment orchestration, inventory, provisioning, and billing domains; Utilize ServiceNow to build a complete, accurate, and comprehensive software migration tool to migrate provisioning applications in a multi-cloud environment; Automate information processes such as configuration item discovery, updates, and relationships into the ServiceNow platform to map software solutions and applications to business services to improve performance, scalability, and stability; Monitor ServiceNow platform for usage trends and performance constraints, and troubleshoot and resolve conflicts between inter-system processes and platforms, including the development of change, asset, incident, and problem management procedures to support appropriate software solutions; Work with Brightspeed leadership and stakeholders within IT team to design a ServiceNow software solution to support Brightspeed initiatives addressing information governance, data migration, and risk and cybersecurity measures. This position is based in Charlotte, NC, but it is a telecommuting role, allowing for remote work from various locations across the United States.
