Responsibilities

  • Enhance the existing procurement process in order to allow the company to adapt to all the changes required from the market
  • Work with Head of Procurement on the new Strategy and Development about Procurement
  • Contribute to the creation and implementation of best practice procurement vision, strategy, policies, processes, and procedures to aid and improve operational performance
  • Handle daily purchase requests that are coming in from all the business units
  • Ensure the workflows that have been designed for all the different business cases match with the tasks and information required
  • Collaborate and coordinate all the functions involved into the process
  • Ensure that all the information like: Contracts, SOW, offer, quote, NDA will be included within the purchase requests
  • Manage the renewal process together with the main stakeholder of the service and collaborate with finance about budget, payment terms, and other general conditions
  • Ensure that purchasing policies and processes are in place to meet business objectives and operational needs in terms of price, quality, and delivery targets and which enables the company to function and compete effectively in the market
  • Create and review opportunities to implement best practice purchasing policies, processes, and procedures to aid and improve business performance and deliver best value and business savings
  • Evaluate the challenges faced by the business and take action to mitigate risks and develop opportunities
  • Ensure purchasing policy, guidelines, and any associated documents are in place and updated when required
  • Utilize appropriate resources including Supplier Development to ensure appropriate supplier partnerships and delivery of sourced products
  • Develop creative and innovative procurement processes (eProcurement) together with the existing vendor about the application Nozomi has been using for Procurement
  • Provide management reports and key performance data and monitor cost savings
  • Manage relationships with suppliers when is required and support each function to find our new potential vendors and be sure we have the best terms and condition in place
  • Support Supply chain in RFQ to involve new vendor
  • Negotiate and manage contract terms with suppliers to ensure value for money, quality standards, and delivery terms with technical and operational input from stakeholders and colleagues
  • Review and negotiate existing agreements to optimise commercial terms
  • Assess tenders from potential suppliers
  • Work with suppliers and have a process in place to measure effective performance, quality, and compliance. Measure against KPI criteria if these exist
  • Ensure professional and consistent supplier management is applied across the supply base in line with the purchasing policy
  • Ensure that the function operates in accordance with any health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures to ensure the safety and wellbeing of staff and visitors

As we expand our product portfolio and global presence, our Logistics & Supply Chain department is hiring a Procurement Manager to be responsible for the purchase of goods, materials , software and services to ensure that the company’s operational needs are met, taking into account price, quality and delivery and to ensure continuity of supply.

In this role, you will:

  • Enhance the exiting procurement process in order to allow the company to adapt to all the changes required from the market

To be successful in this opportunity, you will have:

  • Relevant business/commercial or manufacturing/engineering degree is preferred
  • Member of The Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply (CIPS) is highly recommended
  • Proven experience in a purchasing management role, preferably within an software environment
  • Ability to add value, reduce costs and make business improvements
  • Contract management and supplier experience
  • Project management experience
  • Knowledge and technical understanding of automotive processes and components and supply chain management
  • Computer literate
  • Proven management skills with the ability to optimise team performance and development
  • Excellent relationship management skills with the ability to engage, negotiate and manage key stakeholders and suppliers
  • Strong and confident negotiator with the ability to negotiate at all levels
  • Strong communication, interpersonal and influencing skills
  • Strong analytical skills and problem solving abilities
  • Results orientated with the ability to plan and deliver against project deadlines
  • Commercially and financially aware with experience of managing budgets
  • Keen attention to detail and accuracy

Nozomi Networks is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The base pay scale for this position is $81,900 to $127,600. This is the range the company reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for the position taking into account factors including job-related knowledge, skillset, experience, education and training, certifications, and other relevant business factors. Additional Compensation and Benefits: The company also offers a wide range of competitive benefits, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, and disability insurance for eligible employees.  The successful candidate may also be eligible to participate in the company’s equity program and/or variable bonus program, subject to the rules governing such programs.
