Summary

Join our growing Product team as a Product Manager, Platform to design and build backend features and functionalities accessible to both producers and consumers through our platform services that serves global restaurant brands in the quick service and casual dining space.

Requirements

  • 6+ years as a technical product manager/product manager on a cross-functional team, with experience developing backend restaurant or e-commerce applications on a SaaS platform
  • Hands on experience in the development and successful launch of new backend products and features in SCRUM/Agile environments
  • Knowledgeable, and hands-on expertise in: Execution of product deliverables Business process and data analysis, functional design, modeling, product development processes, and software testing Writing and publishing release notes and product feature documentation Coordinating and managing enterprise scale SaaS based software solutions Documenting current and future state business process flows Technical troubleshooting and problem solving
  • Experience in building and launching SaaS platforms required, preferably managing backend applications with loyalty, communication, or couponing services
  • Demonstrated experience developing technical platform products that includes APIs and webhook in microservices architectures
  • Demonstrable strategic and operational business acumen, with experience working with third-party partners, with a track record of effectively managing product relationships and alignment on feature requirements
  • Demonstrable broad and deep technical knowledge and expertise with ability to write JSON, design logical schema, use tools like Postman or run API methods in cURL, and write SQL (There will be an assessment during the interview process)
  • Strong preference for candidates with experience working in or with SaaS based, restaurant technology providers
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to clearly convey complex concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Strong analytical skills, with experience using data to drive product decisions and measure success
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; an MBA or equivalent is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage platform services including loyalty programs, notification services, couponing solutions, and other services
  • Owns all the phases of product development from research to implementation to release
  • Responsible for the product roadmaps working in collaboration with cross-functional product and engineering leaders, and in consultation with design/user experience, data science, sales, account management, and other stakeholders
  • Own the product backlog aligned with the roadmap, writing and prioritizing user stories for your dedicated team
  • Knowledge expert and advocate for your products, both from the functional and technical perspective, representing Tillster with partners and customers
  • Act as the primary product liaison for third-party partners, defining feature requirements, specifications and managing the product aspects of partner relationships
  • Conduct market research and gather stakeholder feedback to ensure products meet the evolving needs of users
  • Monitor product performance using monitoring tools and logs, leverage user feedback, and iterate on features to improve usability, performance and functionalities
  • Responsible for creating and maintaining release notes and documents associated with the corresponding platform products, including maintaining Swagger and other API documentation
  • Own the quality of your products, responsible for performing UAT testing functionalities and performance
  • Manage the release and client onboarding on the solutions developed

Benefits

  • Expected base salary range $105,000 - $130,000
  • Total starting compensation will be determined based on all lawful criteria, Company policy and best practices
