Requirements

• At least seven (7) years of experience in proposal development for U.S. Government (USG) agencies
• Exceptional communication and writing skills, especially the ability to present compelling written proposals to USG agencies
• Demonstrated ability to multi-task and work well under time constraints
• Experience with USG-funded peacekeeping missions
• Experience with programs such as the Africa Peacekeeping Program (AFRICAP), Africa Contingency Operations Training and Assistance (ACOTA), and the Global Peace Operations Initiative (GPOI)
• Broad experience with the Department of State Bureau of African Affairs and the Bureau of Political-Military Affairs
• Experience with USG security cooperation/security assistance programming
• Experience with assessment, monitoring and evaluation of USG programming
• Familiarity with Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) and/or Security Cooperation
• Experience with the US Department of Labor, Department of State, Department of Defense, and/or Health and Human Services

Responsibilities

• Provide business development support services for live and upcoming opportunities with Department of State, Department of Labor, Department of Defense, and Health and Human Services
• Conduct proposal writing, technical leadership of and/or contributions to proposals, outline development, color reviews, bid process support, copy-editing, and proposal review
