Remote Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner

Requirements

• Active nurse practitioner with a concentration in Psychiatric Mental Health (PMHNP)
• Active New York PMHNP/APRN license in good standing
• Excellent written and verbal communication with an emphasis on clarity and compassion
• Flexibility and ability to adjust to needs of clinic partners (e.g., same-day appointments, patients in crisis, technology outages, etc.)

Responsibilities

• Provide effective management of psychiatric care including initial psychiatric evaluations and medication management reviews in accordance with established clinical guidelines
• Develop a strong rapport with a diverse set of patients (socioeconomic status, age, sexual orientation etc.) exclusively through the telehealth modality
• Uphold clinical customer service through the delivery of prompt and empathetic care
• Formulate treatment plans in collaboration with the on-site clinical team, including inter-disciplinary consultation with therapists, case managers, etc
• Document concurrently all clinical findings and services provided in the electronic medical record as required by compliance standards
• Be present and available on-screen for the duration of the contracted hours
