Remote Scheduler

Summary

Join DataForce as a part-time, remote Scheduler! This one-month project (potentially extendable) requires 20 hours/week and involves scheduling recording sessions for a New York-based data collection project. You will be the primary contact for participants, managing their appointments, answering questions, and ensuring smooth project execution. Fluency in Mandarin (Taiwanese preferred) and advanced English skills are essential, along with strong organizational and communication abilities. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, flexible, and experienced in team environments.

Requirements

• Native level fluency in Mandarin (Taiwanese Mandarin preferred)
• Advanced English language skills
• Computer skills for tasks such as data entry, report generation, schedule creation and management
• Great organizational skills
• Must be extremely detail-oriented
• Must be flexible and able to shift focuses quickly
• Must possess outstanding customer service and excellent communication skills including phone, email, and electronic media communication
• Experience working in a team
• Ready to support moderators, project coordinators, and managers at achieving the desired goal

Responsibilities

• Screen applicants via phone calls and schedule appointments according to availability
• Manage the daily schedule and find replacement participants in case of cancellations
• Send emails to candidates to guide them through document signing and briefly explain the purpose of the study
• Send reminders to candidates to minimize no-shows
• Answer candidates' inquiries via email and calls or redirect inquiries as needed
• Provide logistics information
• Fill the session schedule days in advance and reflect project changes in scheduling, resource planning files, and study documentation where appropriate
• Communicate and coordinate with the project team on a daily basis to ensure up-to-date information
