Responsibilities

  • Administer and configure the Coupa platform, ensuring optimal performance, system updates, and customizations to align with business needs
  • Work closely with procurement, finance, and IT teams to gather requirements, troubleshoot issues, and provide guidance on system functionality and improvements
  • Leverage expertise to identify opportunities for process improvements within the Coupa ecosystem, aligning solutions with industry best practices
  • Provide training and ongoing support to users, ensuring they understand system capabilities and use the platform efficiently
  • Ensure data accuracy and integrity in Coupa, develop custom reports, and analyze key procurement metrics to support decision-making
  • Oversee integrations between Coupa and other business systems, ensuring seamless data flow and compliance with internal and external regulations

What we’re looking for

As the Sr. Systems Administrator - Coupa, you will be responsible for the administration, configuration, and optimization of the Coupa platform to meet the company’s procurement and financial goals. With a background in a major consulting firm, you will bring deep expertise in Coupa implementations and best practices, working closely with internal stakeholders to streamline procurement processes, ensure data accuracy, and drive efficiency across the system.

This position in 100% remote. Ability to work from home and resides in one of the followings states: AK, AL, AZ, CA, CO, DE, FL, GA, HI, ID, IL, IN, LA, MA, MD, ME, MI, MN, MO, MT, NC, NH, NJ, NM, NV, OH, OK, OR, PA, RI, SC, SD, TN, TX, UT, VA, VT, WA, WI, or WY

What you’ll do

  • System Administration: Administer and configure the Coupa platform, ensuring optimal performance, system updates, and customizations to align with business needs.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with procurement, finance, and IT teams to gather requirements, troubleshoot issues, and provide guidance on system functionality and improvements.
  • Process Optimization: Leverage expertise to identify opportunities for process improvements within the Coupa ecosystem, aligning solutions with industry best practices.
  • Training and Support: Provide training and ongoing support to users, ensuring they understand system capabilities and use the platform efficiently.
  • Data Management and Reporting: Ensure data accuracy and integrity in Coupa, develop custom reports, and analyze key procurement metrics to support decision-making.
  • Integration and Compliance: Oversee integrations between Coupa and other business systems, ensuring seamless data flow and compliance with internal and external regulations.
  • Other duties, as assigned.

Skills you’ll need

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business, Finance, or a related field.
  • Extensive experience administering the Coupa platform, with a focus on Sourcing, Contracting, Procurement, Pay, and T&E modules.  Familiarity with entitlements such as OBE and Spend Guard are a preferred
  • Previous experience at a major consulting firm, with a deep understanding of best practices in system implementations, optimization, and troubleshooting.
  • Strong technical skills in Coupa configuration, reporting, and integration with ERP systems like Netsuite or SAP.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical skills and a problem-solving mindset to resolve system issues and improve processes.
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of sourcing, contracting, and procurement processes, compliance standards, and industry regulations.

Compensation:

  • $90000- $145000 / year. Actual pay will vary based on a candidate’s skill, experience, education and/or location.
