Remote Senior Data Engineer

Summary

Join our team as a Data Engineer and help us build out the platform by designing and implementing effective data solutions, developing and maintaining data pipelines, and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience in data engineering/analytics , with a proven track record of successfully delivering end-to-end data solutions
• Proficiency in SQL and Python for data manipulation and analysis
• Experience with data warehouse platforms like Snowflake and Google BigQuery is highly desirable; familiarity with cloud platforms such as GCP and AWS is a plus
• Experience with modern data stack tools (such as fivetran,dbt, census) is highly desirable
• Familiarity with airflow, databricks, and event tracking tools such as Heap & Segment is nice to have

Responsibilities

• Understand and analyze client's business requirements to design and implement effective data solutions
• Develop and maintain data pipelines, ETL processes, and data warehousing solutions
• Create and optimize data models to support client reporting and analytics needs
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless data integration and visualization
• Proactively communicate with clients to provide project updates and address any issues or concerns
• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior team members, if applicable
• Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and emerging technologies to continuously improve data engineering processes
