Requirements

• Technical Mastery: 5+ years of experience building and maintaining scalable data infrastructure, ideally in a high-growth, fast-paced company
• Expert in Data Pipelines: You have deep experience building data pipelines using tools like DBT for transformation and cloud environments like AWS or GCP for data storage and computation
• Problem Solver with Autonomy: You are resourceful and can tackle ambiguous, complex problems on your own
• Collaborative & Communicative: You can translate complex technical ideas into clear, actionable recommendations for both technical and non-technical stakeholders

Responsibilities

• Own and Build Data Infrastructure: Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines, ETL processes, and robust data systems to support multiple business domains
• Collaborate and Support Stakeholders: Work closely with data analysts, product teams, and internal stakeholders to understand data needs and deliver reliable, accurate, and well-documented data solutions
• End-to-End Data Pipeline Ownership: Be responsible for the full lifecycle of data infrastructure, including data collection, transformation, and storage
• Tooling and Automation: Design and implement tools for monitoring, automation, and self-service analytics to make sure that stakeholders can access the data they need quickly and reliably
• Documentation and Best Practices: Develop clear, detailed documentation for data pipelines, architecture, and systems to promote best practices and ease of use for internal teams
• Mentorship and Leadership: Mentor junior data engineers, ensuring they develop the skills to take ownership of key areas while helping you drive the overall vision for data infrastructure
• Continuously Improve Systems: Keep an eye on emerging technologies, tools, and best practices. Continuously improve our data infrastructure to stay ahead of the curve and to meet growing business demands
