Senior Database Developer

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field
• Extensive experience in software development with a focus on designing and building scalable applications
• 5+ years of experience in database development and management
• Strong expertise in SQL Server 2016 and 2019
• Proficiency in SSIS for ETL processes
• Familiarity with Visual Studio 2019 for database project development
• Experience with AWS services (a plus)
• Fluent English
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Knowledge of Python for scripting and automation (a plus)

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain SQL Server databases (2016 and 2019) to support application development and business needs
• Utilize SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) for ETL processes to ensure efficient data migration and transformation
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and implement database solutions that meet organizational objectives
• Write and optimize complex SQL queries and stored procedures for data retrieval and manipulation
• Perform database performance tuning and optimization to enhance system efficiency and reliability
• Develop and maintain documentation related to database design, development, and procedures
